The spring 2007 season represented the fifth year of softball in Foster City, and the formal start of FCYSA activities. The league fielded 2 teams at the 14U level and 3 teams at the 12U level.

In addition, FCLL sponsored 4 AAA (10U) teams, 6 Minors (8U) teams and 4 T-Ball (6U) teams.

In their first year, the 14U’s had a particularly strong season in the 15-team Peninsula Softball League. The Riptide finished 2nd in the regular season and 4th in the playoffs, while the Racers finished 4th in the regular season and 2nd in the playoffs.
